Last weekend I went out to a woodland in the rain to look for birds and Fungi and was happy to find both before getting drenched! Interestingly at one stage I had 6 species of Honeyeater in one tree! White-naped, Brown-headed, Crescent, Tawny-crowned, Yellow-faced and New Holland. I was particularly surprised by the Yellow-faced having not seen them in that area before.
I am not an expert on fungi and have done my best to identify these species located in the Adelaide Hills but forgive me if I have made any errors in my id.

Today I went to Monarto Conservation Park and enjoyed Shy Heathwren, Southern Scrub-robin and Tawny-crowned Honeyeaters along with New Holland Honeyeater, Crimson Rosella, Golden Whistler and Weebills.
An evening of spotlighting resulted in nice views of Southern Boobook
Strawberry Moon lasted for about ten minutes before changing back to its usual colour
